Alarm Telemetry System
One of the main applications of the Alarm Telemetry System is in hospitals, where the terminal is installed in supervised areas for the centralized collection and supervision of all alarms (pressures, levels, temperatures) from medical gas systems and various departments within the facility.
Another typical application is the temperature monitoring of cryocontainers and mechanical freezers used in biobanks, assisted reproductive technology (ART) centers, and, more generally, biology laboratories.
Alarms are displayed on a 5.7” color LCD display in chronological order.
For each measurement, you can immediately verify whether the value is within the set range or is in an anomaly/alarm condition, thanks to specific graphic symbols. The system also reports any faults in the 4–20 mA transducer with the following indications:
- OVER RANGE, typically associated with a short circuit or transducer drift
- UNDER RANGE, typically associated with a disconnection, signal interruption, or transducer drift
For each input, you can set custom measurement ranges and units.
The “Status” page displays system inputs and outputs that do not represent alarm conditions, but rather simple system operating states.
