Emergency Panel for Medical Gas Systems
The emergency panel, installed downstream of a compressed medical gas manifold system within a medical gas distribution network, allows the isolation of the main manifold in the event of maintenance activities or depletion of its gas supply sources. In such cases, the system can be supplied through a dedicated emergency inlet.
Inside the device, an overpressure relief valve installed on the primary pipeline enables the discharge of gas in the event of a pressure increase. This function ensures that system pressure is maintained below a preset limit, both during normal operation and when the pipeline is supplied in emergency mode.
