Medical Gas Terminal Units

Medical gas terminal units represent the final interface of the medical gas and vacuum distribution system, constituting the point of use where healthcare professionals access the medical gas through standardized gas-specific connectors.
Within healthcare facilities, medical gas terminal units are typically installed in combination with other medical devices, such as bed head units, medical supply units and ceiling-mounted pendants.

Each outlet is dedicated to a specific gas and manufactured with differentiated profiles to ensure complete non-interchangeability between outlets and probes. This design principle guarantees that each connector can only be engaged with the corresponding outlet, significantly enhancing overall system safety.
All materials used are oxygen-compatible, supplied clean and free from oil, grease and particulate contamination.

From a functional standpoint, each terminal unit features a gas-specific interface allowing connection to the base block of the system.
The medical gas probe, manufactured from nickel-plated brass, has a geometry specifically designed for the terminal unit model and the gas to be delivered, ensuring a secure and immediately identifiable connection. Gas-specific color coding further facilitates correct identification at the point of connection.
Medical gas terminal units are available in multiple configurations to meet different installation requirements and healthcare standards, including recessed, surface-mounted and bed head unit applications.
The product range includes terminal units compliant with major international standards, such as AFNOR, UNI and NIST, as well as BS and DIN versions.
