Cylinder Connection Pressure Regulators for Medical Gases

Medical cylinder connection pressure regulators for O₂ (oxygen), N₂O (nitrous oxide), AIR (medical air), N₂ (nitrogen), CO₂ (carbon dioxide) and Ar/He (argon/helium) are manufactured with gas-specific connections in accordance with DIN and BS standards, ensuring clear differentiation between versions dedicated to different gases.
The inlet pressure gauges vary according to the type of gas supplied.

Both inlet and outlet pressure gauges are mounted directly on the regulator body, allowing immediate readability and simplified operational control.
Medical pressure regulators from the RBMQ range are available in multiple configurations to meet different system and department requirements.
STM-manufactured versions can be supplied with:

  • terminal unit outlet connections compliant with NIST or AFNOR standards,
  • hose barb outlet,
  • or pressure regulator with integrated flowmeter.

Adjustable versions are also available, with a setting range from 0 to 10 bar.
The RBHQ range pressure regulators is designed for higher-demand applications and is available in versions with flow capacities of 100 and 180 m³/h, ensuring reliable performance where higher flow rates are required.

Ball Valves for Medical Gas Systems

For system management and safety, STM also supplies oxygen-cleaned ball valves with three-piece fittings, designed for use in medical gas applications.
These valves are used to section portions of the pipeline system and to create quick and reliable isolation points.

Classified as medical gas shut-off valves, they are installed as functional elements supporting monitoring, maintenance and service activities. Their use allows safe isolation of lines or areas, minimizing the impact of maintenance operations on the healthcare facility’s daily activities.
